Today Apple released a 1 gb nano and decreased the price of all shuffles $30. Today it seem they also got rid of the 17 inch iMac G5. Do you think Apples setting something up like getting rid of the iMac G5 or the shuffle and replaceing it with the “micro” or….”flea” ;). I would like to know what you think I think all this is setting something up ,well it wouldn’t be the first time. You might have also heard that the Dell stoped making thier DellDJ product. I can’t imangine why.

I want them to keep the shuffle around. It’s more rugged than nano and there are situations where that is really great. The rumors about the new 3.5inch touchscreen ipod seem like they could be true. Sounds really cool. I hope it can work as a great PDA as well 😉

You people like the DEll DJ, O_O! An $30 shuffle seems great, something that I’ve been predicting and wanting for long. This will extend Apple’s market overseas for sure.. And apple seems to be on a roll reducing prices.

It’s not a $30 iPod shuffle. Its a $30 price reduction. Which makes the .5/1gb shuffles $69/99. When I read your post, I jumped to go buy one.
For $30 I would buy one to take skiing. But for $69 I will continue to risk ruining my 20gb B&W iPod. Now that I have my MythTV box working, I’m just looking for an excuse to upgrade to the vPod. The season is not over yet!
